What is the Colour Run?

It is well and truly the brightest day at school!  It’s a fun run event with a colourful twist. The idea behind a colour run is to create a joyful and visually stunning experience, promoting a sense of community and camaraderie. As participants progress through the course, they become covered in a rainbow of colours, transforming into living works of art by the end of the run.

Be sure to wear an old white t-shirt to best display your organic work of art at the end of the run.  And given that our event is in the sizzling month of February, water will be put to good use resulting in a vibrant mix of colour.

Colour Powder
The colour powder we have purchased for our Colour Run is from a company that supplies powder to 1400 Australian schools annually (over 500,000 students).  The colour powder is certified, skin safe, non-toxic and made from food grade material making it environmentally friendly and biodegradable.

Remember to:
  • Bring a change of clothes and a towel with you to the Colour Run.  We will have a cleaning station set up but you may wish to bring a few cloths/wipes of your choosing.
  • Sign up (we need to know numbers for catering purposes) and enjoy colouring and being coloured!
  • Volunteer – we need you!  Your help will make this event a big success and a day to remember for our school community, especially our boys.  That is what it’s about after all.

What is happening on the day?

The Colour Run officially kicks off at 3.15pm but people are advised to start arriving just before 3pm to secure a good spot to park.  More details on parking will be emailed to you by the school soon.
