PA General Meetings 2025

The PA meets each term to provide an events and treasury update, discuss upcoming events and to discuss any other items related to the PA.  We welcome all parents from our school community to attend.  PA no longer operates a fee based membership and is therefore inclusive of every SGS St Ives Prep parent who wishes to attend PA General meetings and contribute to the life of the PA and the School.

We commence the year with a PA General meeting in the evening.  We provide drinks and nibbles prior to the commencement of the meeting and open the meeting with a guest speaker.  This year, we asked a few Year 12 boys from College Street to talk about their time at College Street by way of a Q&A.  Mikey Dummer, William Chung, Harry Thompson and Jonty Snyman did an excellent job answering all the many questions asked by the prep school parents.  All four boys attended SGS St Ives Prep School.  It was a very well attended meeting and definitely something worth doing again in future years.

The PA General meetings in Term 2 and Term 3 are held at the school in the mornings.  The PA AGM and soiree is held in Term 4 when the new committee is voted in with drinks and nibbles to celebrate the end of the PA calendar year.
